Enhanced security WebTV has added the standard system for secure Web pages: SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Now you can safely make purchases and complete other transactions in areas such as online banking, travel reservations, shopping and more. With SSL, your personal information is electronically encoded and protected as you use a company's Web site. You don't need to do anything special: the secure communication is built right into the company's Web site, and WebTV automatically makes the secure connection.
